Nettleships provided interim financial management of their finance function based in the East Midlands (125 heads) and project managed its transition into a smaller more streamlined finance team.

Leadley Limited    Finance Director        Nottingham

In July 2002 Leadley Limited became the Mercedes-Benz franchise for the East Midlands, a region generating turnover of £120m. With just days to go before acquiring the Loughborough site the client found itself without a finance director. Nettleships were asked to provide interim financial director support and install a new dealership system across the estate.

John Nettleship managed operations at Arthur Andersen’s Financial Administration Centre (FAC) in the East Midlands. Managed a team of 150 delivering financial management, control and reporting services to 40,000 internal customers in over 50 countries. Total savings: $4m.

First Leisure Corporation plc   Financial Controller  East Midlands

Performed monthly consolidations, cash flow forecasting, accounting for acquisitions and disposals, business planning and budgeting for this market leader in discotheques, bars and leisure venues. Promoted to run a finance function of 60 in Blackpool, reporting to the Group Finance Director. Put in new finance systems and relocated the finance function to the East Midlands.
